Caprivi Strip

In the north-eastern corner of Namibia lies the Caprivi Strip.

Being at the confluence of the mighty Chobe and Zambezi rivers there is excellent game viewing and birding year-round.  Because of the vicinity of the rivers the vegetation is lush and supports a particularly dense wildlife population.  River cruises, as well as the more traditional lodges, are a feature of the area.

With Botswana and Zambia being so close by, a visit to the Caprivi Strip can easily be combined with further game viewing and the stunning Victoria Falls.
