Overview

The 5-star Cellars-Hohenort is situated in the historical Constantia Valley, also known as ‘Cape Town’s Vineyard’. Surrounded by well-tended gardens and plenty of space, it sits on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, adjacent to the world-famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Rooms

The 51 rooms and suites are individually decorated in either an elegantly classical or contemporary style. Divided between the Cellars and the Hohenort buildings, they exude timeless elegance and afford views of the nine acres of gardens and vineyard. All have air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. Two standalone villas are ideal for families, the Madiba Villa also has a private heated pool.

Facilities

The award-wining gardens are a delight to explore, with water features, ponds, rose, herb and vegetable gardens and picnic spots. Leisure facilities include two solar-heated salt-water pools, a spa with hair salon, gym, tennis courts, putting green and a boutique. The Conservatory Restaurant & Bar serves food throughout the day and the Greenhouse Bar has an extensive list of wines and cocktails.
