Day by day
DAYS 2-5
At leisure in Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to your chosen hotel for a stay of 4 nights. There’s much to explore from this beautiful city. Discover Table Mountain, the V & A Waterfront or Robben Island. Venture further afield to Cape Point and the penguins of boulders beach, or the winelands. Don’t miss the vibrant and innovative restaurant scene which offers great value for money. We’re happy to suggest favourite and unique places to eat. We also have an extensive range of day trips which we recommend booking in advance, ask the African Pride consultant for details.
DAYS 6-7
Oudtshoorn
You will be collected by your driver guide for the start of your small group tour to Gqeberha. Travel to Africa’s southernmost tip at Cape Agulhas before travelling via the scenic R62 to the historical town of Oudtshoorn and to your hotel for two nights. The following day is spent exploring the area to include a visit to the Cango Caves, a work ostrich farm and wine tasting.
DAY 8
The Garden Route
Travel via the Outeniqua Pass to George where you will visit the Transport Muesuem. Afterwards travel to Wilderness and then onto Knysna where you will visit the dramatic Knysna Heads.
DAYS 9-10
Tsitsikamma
Travel to Pletternberg Bay to visit Mungo, a family managed textile mill using traditional methods. After visit Monkeyland and the Birds of Eden. After travel to the Tsitsikamma area and to your hotel. The following day spend the day exploring the Tsitsikamma Forests and Storms River Mouth, finishing the day with an authentic South African dinner in Storms River village.
DAY 11
Transfer to the airport
After breakfast depart for Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). Upon arrival enjoy a city tour of what is known as the friendly city. Drop off at Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth ) Airport for your flights back to the UK.
