Overview

Elephant Plains Lodge is a luxury lodge perched on the western escarpment of the Albertine Rift, within Queen Elizabeth National Park. Set across 80 acres of wilderness, the lodge enjoys breathtaking views over the open grasslands to Lake George and overlooks Lake Kikorongo, where elephants can often be seen gathering at the water’s edge.

Rooms

The lodge has six cottages and two family cottages, each spaced apart to provide privacy. The spacious rooms feature comfortable beds, large en suite bathrooms and private verandas overlooking the surrounding landscape.

Facilities

The lodge offers dining on the terrace, a bar and comfortable seating areas, as well as a swimming pool overlooking the surrounding wilderness. In the evenings, guests can gather around the campfire and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Elephant Plains is also well placed for exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park, with game drives in the Kasenyi Plains and wildlife viewing at Mweya Peninsula among the experiences available.
