Overview

Tuningi is a well-designed 5-star lodge which effortlessly manages to meet the needs for families, intimate groups or couples looking for a tranquil atmosphere at the heart of the Madikwe Game Reserve.

Rooms

There are four well appointed, generous Luxury Suites and two Family Suites which are formed by two suites connected by a kitchen/lounge area. These are ideal for families or couples travelling together. All rooms are en-suite with both indoor and outdoor showers, and have a private ‘wraparound’ deck with plunge pool, allowing for great views over the surrounding bush. All have air-conditioning and heating to keep the suite at an ambient temperature at any time of the year, tea/coffee facilities, and a mini-bar.

Facilities

Meals are served in the cosy dining room or in the Boma set under an old fig tree overlooking a waterhole. Nearby is an underground hide where keen photographers can take advantage of the eye level view of the wildlife. There is a rim-flow swimming pool with a viewing deck and a gym, while massage treatments can be arranged in the comfort of your suite. Complimentary Wi-Fi and satellite TV are available in the comfortably furnished lounge.
