Overview
As the name suggests, Simbavati Hilltop Lodge sits on a hillside, offering great views over the bush, the Mbali Dam, the Nhlaralumi River and across to the Drakensberg escarpment in the distance. The tented lodge has a romantic feel and has been thoughtfully designed to have minimal impact on the environment.
Rooms
Eight stylish pavilion-style tented rooms are scattered across the hilltop. Each comes with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, and tea/coffee facilities. French doors open on to the outdoor deck with a private sala and day bed to relax and soak up the views. A small passageway links the bedroom to the en-suite bathroom tent.
Facilities
The Lodge has a 360-degree bar offering panoramic bush views, game-viewing deck, infinity pool and shaded lounge area. There is a dining tent and a boma for open-air meals around the campfire. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the main lodge. A range of pampering spa treatments are offered in the comfort of your suite.

" From its elevated position it’s all about the views at this lodge. The possibility of seeing wildlife drinking at the dam will always excite. After dark the campfire area is a welcome spot to sit and share experiences of the day. "
