Overview

Savanna is situated in the Sabi Sand Reserve, an area renowned for its wildlife sightings, so there’s a good chance of spotting the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) over the course of your stay. A series of waterholes in front of the lodge also attract many species, so your viewing experience starts right at the lodge.

Rooms

Each of the lodge’s nine suites are en-suite and have a private patio, heated plunge pool, freestanding bathtub and indoor and outdoor shower, as well as a well-stocked minibar and air-conditioning.

Luxury and Executive Suites have canvas roofs which give an authentic ‘Out of Africa’ feel. The Executive Suites are larger. The thatched ‘Savanna Suite’ consists of two separate en-suite rooms, each with their own deck and plunge pools. These rooms lead to a furnished lounge area so are ideal for families or two couples travelling together.

Facilities

The lodge’s lounge has a spacious patio and a loft area with views to the waterhole. In between the twice daily game drives, relax by the main pool or work out in the gym. In-suite massages can be arranged. Evening meals are served by candlelight on the lodge deck and traditional BBQs around an open fire at the boma. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the communal library area.
