GREATER KRUGER - SABI SAND
Overview
&Beyond Kirkman’s Kamp sits on a ridge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve that shares an unfenced boundary with the world-famous Kruger National Park. The original home of one of South Africa’s foremost conservationists, W. Harry Kirkman, the lodge is a blend of antiques and modern furnishings and has a classic 1920’s style.
Rooms
The 12 semi-detached cottages are air-conditioned and have private verandas that overlook the Sand River below. Two cottages interconnect for families.
Facilities
At the main lodge there is a large lounge with comfy sofas and a fireplace, cosy bar, dining room and a large outdoor terrace with wonderful views. In the gardens there’s a tennis court and a pool that overlooks the waterhole.
Twice daily game drives and guided walks are included. In-room wellness, fitness and massage treatments are available for guests, and tennis and croquet can be played in the outdoor areas. The large outdoor swimming pool overlooks the waterhole.
