​Overview:  Mala Mala Main Camp offers a high level of accommodation and effortlessly combines luxury, warm comfort and superb service.  You will see some of the finest game viewing as the reserve is one of the largest tracks of privately owned ‘Big 5’ land in South Africa.

Location: Adjacent to Kruger National Park, Mala Mala is perfectly located for game viewing and is easily accessible via daily flights to their own airstrip from Johannesburg.

Mala Mala Camp enjoys spectacular views of the Sand River, a haven for wildlife. Enjoy the vistas from the infinity pool or safari deck. There’s a small fitness room, lounge, bar, library and boma for evening meals. 

10 luxury suites, 8 luxury rooms and 1 luxury single suite all have private decks with views of the river or the waterhole. Family rooms are available on request.

Mala Mala Rattray’s Camp is tucked away in a secluded forest, yet still with spectacular views of the Sand River. There’s an infinity pool and deck to enjoy wildlife viewing from. Delicious food can be enjoyed in the boma, on the deck, in the dining room or in your private suite.

8 luxury suites each with private plunge pool, deck, verandah and a private garden which is a haven for birds. ‘His’ and ‘hers’ bathrooms and an outdoor shower encourage immersion with nature.

Please note that Mala Mala is unfenced. Children under the age of 16 are not accepted at Rattrays Camp.
