Overview

Kyaninga Lodge is a spectacular luxury lodge overlooking Lake Kyaninga, with the Rwenzori Mountains providing a dramatic backdrop. Surrounded by unspoilt natural beauty, the lodge offers a peaceful setting from which to enjoy the landscapes and wildlife of western Uganda.

Rooms

The nine exclusive cottages are set apart and raised on platforms, offering privacy and tranquillity with spectacular views over the lake and Rwenzori Mountains. Crafted from natural, locally sourced materials, each cottage features handcrafted furnishings and a large private deck, perfect for enjoying morning tea or coffee while taking in the views.

The en suite bathrooms feature marble countertop basins set on handcrafted Elgon Olive pedestals, freestanding claw-foot baths and glass-walled showers. The cottages are solar powered and yoga mats are available on request.

Facilities

The lodge has a restaurant and bar serving a blend of local and international cuisine, with fresh ingredients sourced from the kitchen garden and local markets. Relax beside the swimming pool overlooking Lake Kyaninga or enjoy a treatment at the Wellness Centre. Guests can also enjoy guided nature and forest walks, as well as swimming in the crater lake.
