Overview
Buhoma Lodge is one of only two lodges located within Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, set at the gateway to the forest and just steps from the gorilla trekking start point. The lodge has a warm, homely atmosphere, with views across the forest from its elevated central area.
Rooms
The lodge has ten spacious, eco-friendly wooden chalets, each with a private verandah overlooking the forest. The peaceful setting allows guests to enjoy the sounds of the forest, with morning tea or coffee on the verandah.
Facilities
The elevated central area houses the lounge, bar and dining area, where multi-course meals are served. There is also a fireplace for cooler evenings, while the lodge's position provides uninterrupted views over the forest.
