Overview
Ruaha River Lodge is a larger lodge in a unique riverside location, in one of the richest wildlife areas of the park.
Rooms
Twenty-four comfortable stone chalets stretch along the riverbank. There’s a veranda outside with river views and inside, each chalet has a sitting area, writing desk and en-suite bathroom.
Facilities
There are two dining areas, one along the river, the other built atop a kopje/hill with views down to the river – a perfect sundowner spot.

" While the camp itself is quite simple, its location is a great spot for just sitting on the veranda and watching animals come down to the river to drink. "

"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
