Overview
Mvuu Lodge is set on the banks of the Shire River in Liwonde National Park, overlooking the Namagogodo Lagoon. Surrounded by lush vegetation and Borassus palms, the lodge offers an intimate setting for exploring the park and its wildlife.
Rooms
The lodge has eight spacious safari tents, including a honeymoon suite. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom and private deck overlooking the lagoon and water's edge, providing a good spot for wildlife viewing.
Facilities
Mvuu Lodge has a dining room, lounge and bar, along with a swimming pool. There is also a photographic hide beside the river and a star bed overlooking the floodplains, around 2km from the lodge.

"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
