Overview
Mkulumadzi Lodge is set in the heart of Majete Wildlife Reserve in southern Malawi, on the banks of the Shire River. Surrounded by riverine forest, woodland and granite hills, the lodge offers an intimate base for exploring the reserve and its wildlife.
Rooms
The lodge has eight spacious chalets set along the Shire River beneath giant leadwood trees and wild mangoes. Each chalet has a bedroom and lounge, en suite bathroom, outdoor shower and private viewing deck overlooking the river.
Facilities
The main lodge has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, lounge, terrace and bar, as well as a swimming pool and viewing deck. There is also a shop, Wi-Fi in the main area and a star deck for overnight stays beneath the night sky.

"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."
