DAYS 1-4

Arrive Dar-es-Salaam where your adventure begins with a light aircraft flight into the Selous Game Reserve. The mighty Rufiji River breathes life through the reserve, attracting a huge variety of wildlife in great numbers to its banks. Activities make the most of the water and bush combination – stay 4 nights at Rufiji River Lodge and explore on game drives, walks and boat safaris.

DAYS 5-8

Fly to Ruaha National Park for 4 nights at Ruaha River Lodge. Ruaha is vast, you’ll feel like you’re the only ones here, true explorers in pristine wilderness. With mountains, dry riverbeds, elephants and baobabs, this is Africa as you’ve always imagined it, raw and beautiful.

DAYS 9-11

Fly to the southern highlands for 3 days at Mufindi Highland Lodge. The mountain air makes a refreshing change from the heat of the bush. Activities include mountain biking, kayaking on the lakes, fishing or visiting local communities.

DAY 12

Return to Dar-es-Salaam – you could finish with a few days on Zanzibar or Pemba before returning home.
