Day by day
DAY 2
Overnight near Maun
Arrive in Maun where you will be met by your Letaka Safaris guide. Transfer to the Thamalakane River Lodge (or similar) on the outskirts of Maun for an overnight stay. Afternoon at leisure to relax.
DAYS 3-4
The Okavango Pan Handle
An early start gets you on the road heading north-west towards the Okavango Pan Handle. On arrival at Shakawe, transfer to a boat for the last leg of your transfer to Xaro Lodge (or similar) for a 2 night stay. Enjoy boat cruises on the wildlife rich Okavango River and an island walk during your stay.
DAY 5
Bwabwata National Park
Travel across the border into Namibia and head east through the remote Zambezi Region (formerly the Caprivi Strip) to Nambwa Tented Camp (or similar) for an overnight stay. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, which is one of the last refuges of wild dogs in Namibia.
DAY 6
Katima Mulilo and the Zambezi River
Enjoy a morning at leisure in camp or opt for another game activity (not included - additional cost applies) before heading towards Katima Mulilo. Stay for 1 night at Caprivi River Lodge (or similar) and enjoy an evening sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
DAYS 7-8
Explore the Victoria Falls
Cross the border into Zambia and continue onto Livingstone for a 2 night stay at David Livingstone Safari Lodge (or similar). A guided tour of the Zambian side of the Falls is included, but the rest of your time is at leisure. With such a vast range of activities to choose from, speak to your African Pride consultant about what you would like to experience in this exciting destination.
DAYS 9-10
Lesoma Valley & Chobe National Park
Cross the river back into Botswana and drive to your accommodation in the tranquil Lesoma Valley. Spend 2 nights at Tlouwana Lodge (or similar) and enjoy game drives in Chobe National Park, the Lesoma Valley and a boat cruise on the Chobe River.
DAYS 11-12
The Makgadikgadi Pans
Head south to Gweta, situated near the Makgadikgadi Pans, for a 2 night stay at Gweta Lodge (or similar). Explore the local village on foot then spend a day out on the pans themselves to marvel at the incredible moon-like landscape. Finish with a sundowner walk – the perfect way to end your African adventure.
DAY 13
Return to Maun
Return by road to Maun. Connect onto a flight back to Johannesburg then to an overnight flight back to the UK.

Arrive in the UK
