Overview
Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma is built on a bend of the Zambezi River in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Named after Dr. David Livingstone’s faithful companions Sussi and Chuma, its location is one of the most beautiful parts of the Zambezi, making for great views.
Rooms
Accommodation is in twelve Sussi treehouses, connected by wooden walkways, built into the canopy of majestic ebony trees that line the riverbank. All are en-suite with bathtub, air-conditioning and a private viewing deck.
Facilities
There is a stunning infinity pool overlooking the river, a spa and well-equipped gym.
A unique bird’s eye view of the river can be enjoyed from the elevated cosy lounge, open-air dining area and bar. All day dining offers classic local dishes with a modern twist.
The wide range of activities includes game drives, bush walks and sundowner cruises on the Zambezi River.

"The holiday was absolutely fantastic. Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. We did a helicopter tour over Victoria falls, which were awe inspiring - another highlight of the holiday. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana. We had an unforgettable holiday and will be boring our friends and family with it for months. Thanks for your help in organising this wonderful holiday. "
