Overview
Nkonzi Bush Camp is an owner-run safari camp in a remote area of South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. Open seasonally from June to October, the camp combines a traditional bush setting with comfortable accommodation beneath mature riverine trees.
Rooms
The camp has five walk-in safari tents, each with an open-air en-suite bathroom, hot-water bucket shower and flush toilet. Inside, guests will find white cotton bed linen, a dressing area, power sockets and a fan. Each tent also has a private outdoor lounge.
Facilities
The central Meru-style tent houses the dining and lounge areas, with a fully stocked bar and small library. The camp also has two wildlife hides, one within the camp and another beside a nearby natural spring. It is entirely solar-powered and carbon neutral.

"The holiday was absolutely fantastic. Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. We did a helicopter tour over Victoria falls, which were awe inspiring - another highlight of the holiday. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana. We had an unforgettable holiday and will be boring our friends and family with it for months. Thanks for your help in organising this wonderful holiday. "
