Overview

Baines' River Camp is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Eastern Chiawa Game Management Area, adjacent to Lower Zambezi National Park. Set beneath Jackalberry and Tamarind trees, the camp overlooks the river and offers access to both river and wildlife experiences.

Rooms

Baines' River Camp has eight Explorer Suites and a Family Suite. The freestanding suites have king-size or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, minibars and private river-facing verandas. Two suites also have outdoor showers.

Facilities

The main lodge includes a bar, lounge and dining areas overlooking the Zambezi River, as well as a swimming pool, library and boardroom. Complimentary Wi-Fi and laundry are available, while spa treatments can be arranged in the privacy of your suite.

Baines' River Camp is located in the Eastern Chiawa Game Management Area on the northern bank of the Zambezi River.

Saw all the big 5 except rhinos.The accommodation was top class (lovely big beds), the people who staffed it were so friendly, guides were so knowledgeable, you really felt they wanted you to visit their country. All the transfers were smooth and efficient and this reduced any stress in the holiday, loved the small plane hops between camps in Botswana.
