Overview

asDunas is a small, owner-managed lodge, purpose-built for relaxation. Set on a cliff with stunning ocean views, the safari-style lodge is hidden away amidst the lush coastal dune vegetation. An ideal post-safari retreat.   

Rooms

The lodge’s eight rooms are tucked into the indigenous coastal vegetation. The two brick and thatch Cottage Suites have king sized beds and a day bed, air-conditioning, tea and coffee station and an en suite bathroom with shower.

The six Safari Suites sit on wooden decks, with canvas walls. The thatched roof provides respite from the sun. All suites have a private pool and sun deck.

Facilities

The main lodge has an open plan lounge, dining and bar area with magnificent ocean views. Outside there’s a covered veranda, a seating area and an infinity pool with sun deck and loungers. The Italian owners place great emphasis on food and wine, serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with fresh local fish and vegetables from the lodge’s garden.

A pathway and wooden stairway lead down to the beach where there are deck chairs and a sail cloth to provide some shade – due to the steps, the walk to the beach may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties. The range of activities includes beach walks and snorkelling, lunch on a sandbank, boat trips to nearby islands, scuba diving, kite surfing and horse riding. Set amongst the trees are pavilions for spa treatments and yoga.
