Overview
Kefi Hotel Café is a family-run boutique hotel and café in Zomba, Malawi, set in a restored colonial-era home at the foot of Zomba Plateau. The hotel combines historic architecture with contemporary design and has views across Zomba, with views towards Mount Mulanje on clear days.
Rooms
Kefi Hotel has four suites and a family cottage. The rooms feature locally inspired décor, private porches and views of the surrounding forest. The two-bedroom cottage can accommodate up to four guests and provides an alternative for families.
Facilities
The hotel has a café serving breakfast and lunch, with coffee, tea, drinks, wine, freshly baked pastries and desserts. Guests can also make use of the terrace, garden and shared indoor areas, with complimentary Wi-Fi available for residents.

"We had an amazing, awesome trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Everything ran smoothly and we managed to see the Big 5 plus lots of lions, tree lions cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, elephants galore etc. Even the wildebeest. The accommodation was great everywhere. We had the most wonderful time and despite the cost, the air balloon flight was so worth it. Such an experience, none of us will ever forget."

We saw the big 5 and scenery was amazing. Video of hippos still makes us laugh and warthogs really do hop like the cartoon Lion King. "
