Mauritius & Reunion

For many, the dream of ending a holiday to Africa is to spend some days relaxing at an Indian Ocean beach resort.

Sunshine, clear blue seas and soft white beaches make for the perfect "paradise". Alternatively, for those wishing to spend their entire holiday on an Indian Ocean island, we can make all the arrangements for you.

Lying about 1,200 miles off the African coast, Mauritius is one of the most popular resorts in the Indian Ocean and has many excellent hotels, superb white sandy beaches and plenty of activities. The scenery is varied with the interior of the island covered in lush vegetation and exotic flowers. The island is known for its hospitality and friendliness.

Direct flights operate from London, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Nairobi, The Seychelles and Dubai.  With its position and ease of access it makes an ideal add-on to an African holiday or as a main centre.

Reunion Island is just 30 minutes by air from Mauritius, yet a vastly different experience. It is all about nature and fabulous scenery, towering volcanoes and magnificent cirques, walking trails and scenic drives. Stay up in the mountains or along the coast, though don’t expect to find world class resorts set on private beaches – here the hotels are set on cliffs or tucked into the hillside with beautiful views. Combine with Mauritius for a twin-centre island hop.

Foreign Office: The Foreign,Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) issues travel advice on destinations, which includes information on passports, visas, health, safety and security. We urge you to visit their website before deciding to travel.
