​Overview:  Shumba (meaning ‘lion’) is a beautiful and luxurious property and boasts, as its name suggest a large concentration of lions with prides of sometimes up to 20 strong.  A pool provides a cool oasis during the day.  There are day and night drives, guided walks and seasonal boating activities.

Location:  Located in the north of Kafue National Park and is perfectly situated to take advantage of the plains game and predator concentrations of the Busanga Plains, being situated as it is within close proximity to permanent water and having easy access to a mix of seasonal and permanent floodplains.

Rooms:  Shumba Camp comprises 6 spacious luxury safari tents on raised platforms with spectacular views of the surrounding plains.  The rooms are large and have both indoor and outdoor showers.
