Born and brought up in Kenya, Ceri’s roots are deeply buried in the Great Rift Valley, where as a child the Masai Mara was her playground. Since then she has travelled extensively around the world, initially on board cruise liners, where she sailed the northern, western and southern coasts of Africa calling at Walvis Bay, Cape Town, Durban and Mauritius amongst others. She then moved to Dubai where she discovered the delights of the desert dunes and the mystical Hajar Mountains of Oman. It was here she became a travel consultant and her love affair with Africa was reignited while on honeymoon in Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zanzibar. She enjoyed searching for whale shark off Mafia Island, Tanzania and island hopping in the Seychelles.
