Day 1 Morning flight
(approx 90 mins) fromLusaka (or Livingstone) to Lunga River Lodge
for 2 nights. (FP+)
Day 2 On safari, with game
drives, walks, river boating and fishing activities.
Day 3 Helicopter transfer
(approx 30 mins) to Busanga Bush Camp for 3 nights. (FP+) It is
possible to stay at Kapinga or Shumba Camp and applicable
supplements are on request. Shumba Camp is operational from June to
early January.
Day 4 & 5 On safari with game
drives and swamp boat activities.
Day 6 Helicopter transfer to
Lunga for flight to Lusaka (or Livingstone).
Note: This safari combines well with the lodges in the
Livingstone area and hotels close to Victoria Falls
Departures: Daily from Lusaka or Livingstone (Jun –
Nov)

LUNGA RIVER LODGE
12 guests can be accommodated in 6 spacious thatched
rooms with private decks overlooking the Lunga River and miombo and
riverine woodland in the north east of Kafue National Park. Buffalo,
elephant, lion, leopard, yellow baboons and tree hyrax are to be
encountered and the river has a large hippo population.
Children over 8 years are welcome.
Game drives, night drives, walking safaris and boating trips.
KAPINGA CAMP
For just 8 guests in 4 spacious luxury tents with all the
modern conveniences and each with indoor and outdoor shower. The
camp is designed to blend with the environment and natural products
have been used as much as possible in its construction. There is a
plunge pool and a bar/dining area beneath the cool canopy of
majestic trees.

BUSANGA BUSH CAMP
Amongst the grassy floodplains, this camp is perfectly situated for
some of the best lion viewing in Africa. It caters for eight guests
in four well appointed rooms built of reed and canvas with
wall-to-wall views of the spectacular
wildlife that frequents the plain in front of the camp.
Game drives and night drives
SHUMBA CAMP (OPEN JUN-EARLY JAN)
Accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 spacious luxury safari tents on
raised platforms, each with breathtaking views of the surrounding
Busanga Plains. The dining and bar area are under a canopy of
majestic fig trees and dinners are served in traditional boma style
under the stars. A swimming pool overlooks the plains and children
over 8 years are welcome.
