ZAMBIA'S CLASSIC SAFARI

Day 1 Evening flight from Heathrow Airport to Lusaka.
Day 2
Arrive Lusaka early morning and connect with the flight to Mfuwe. On arrival commence your safari. Spend 5 nights in the camps of Robin Pope Safaris in the South Luangwa National Park. (FP+)
Days 3-6
On safari with game viewing by open vehicle and walking trail.
Day 7
Transfer by light aircraft (via Lusaka) to Sausage Tree Camp in the Lower Zambezi National Park. (FP+)
Days 8 & 9
On safari with game viewing by open vehicle, boat and walking trail.
Day 10
Transfer by light aircraft to Livingstone and stay at Tongabezi for 2 nights. (FP+)
Day 11
Day for exploring the Falls and enjoying the activities available.
Day 12
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Livingstone Airport for the flight to Johannesburg. Connect with the evening flight to London
Day 13
Arrive Heathrow Airport early morning

Departures: Monday, Wednesday and Friday with British Airways (Jan-Oct only)

SAUSAGE TREE CAMPSAUSAGE TREE CAMP
The camp, set high on the riverbank, overlooks the scenic channels dotted with water lilies and pods of hippo. The 6 large en suite tents all have river views. The area is noted for impala, buffalo, elephant, lion and leopard. Game viewing is by boat, canoe and open safari vehicle. Fishing and boat cruises are also available. Open May to mid November.


TONGABEZITONGABEZI
The camp is set 20km upstream from the Falls on a sweeping bend of the river. It has 5 spacious cottages and 3 luxury houses, all beautifully appointed and with views of the nearby river. Many activities are available – canoeing, cruises, visits to the Falls, village visits – and there is a swimming pool, tennis court and a croquet lawn.

The camps operated by this much respected safari operator are situated throughout the valley. The safari experience offers walks led by a naturalist and accompanied by an armed game scout plus day and night game viewing drives by open safari vehicle. The camps are open from June to October apart from Nkwali which is open year round
