:: NORTHERN GAME RESERVES

THE WATERBERG
With a driving time of just 2.5 to 3.5 hours north from Pretoria or Johannesburg to the Waterberg and Welgevonden areas, this Malaria free area enjoys easy road access with fine game viewing.

MADIKWE GAME RESERVE

Madikwe Game Reserve lies on the north western border of South Africa with Botswana. This is the fourth largest reserve in South Africa and is malaria free. It was created with the re-introduction of over 10,000 wild animals and is once again home to white and black rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion and wild dog. There is a daily flight from Johannesburg or by road you must allow about 4.5 to 5 hours. A safari can easily be combined with a stay at the fabulous resort of Sun City or one of the delightful and restful country hotels in the Magaliesberg Hills.
