SELOUS & RUAHA

Day 1 Fly into the Selous Game Reserve from Dar es Salaam and stay at Selous Safari Camp for 3 nights. Game viewing by open safari vehicle, boat and on foot. (FP)
Days 2 & 3
Days spent game viewing.
Day 4
Transfer by light aircraft to Ruaha National Park and for 3 nights at Jongomero Camp. Game viewing by open safari vehicle and on foot. (FP)
Days 5 & 6
Days spent game viewing.
Day 7
Transfer by air  to Der es Salaam and to Ras Kutani where 5 nights are spent. (FB)
Days 8-11
At leisure to relax and enjoy the various facilities.
Day 12
Morning return road transfer to Dar es Salaam.

Daily from Dar es Salaam. The camps are closed from mid March to 31 May.

SELOUS SAFARI CAMPSELOUS SAFARI CAMP
The camp is set in the densely game populated north eastern sector of the reserve. It has 9 tents with en suite facilities which are on raised platforms fronting on to Lake Nzerekera. The elevated mess tent houses the dining room and lounge/bar area. There is a small plunge pool. Game viewing is by open safari vehicle, boat and on foot.


JONGOMERO CAMPJONGOMERO CAMP
The camp is full of character and set on the bank sof the Jongomero Sand River in the south west corner of the Ruaha National Park. It has 8 spacious canvas rooms, built on decks and shaded by thatch, with en suite bathrooms and verandahs overlooking the river. Activities include full day game expeditions throughout the park with picnic lunches included


RAS KUTANI RAS KUTANI
This perfect hideaway is about 15 minutes by light aircraft south of Dar es Salaam (or one hour byroad). It has 12 large simply furnished bamboo and thatch cottages. Each has a large verandah with hammock overlooking the lagoon or sea. Activities include snorkelling (offshore or by boat on nearby reefs), windsurfing, sailing, fishing and nature walks.


AMANI BEACH CLUBAMANI BEACH CLUB
Set on an idyllic beachfront close to Ras Kutani, the club has 10 spacious air-conditioned thatched rooms decorated in an Arabic style. There is a beach bar, large pool, tennis court and attractive gardens. Life is very laid back with activities such as kayaking, walking, fishing, snorkelling, swimming and horse riding. The Italian owners place great emphasis on fine food.
