Only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg, this amazing resort offers a whole range of leisure activities, from casino and entertainments centre to a theatre staging shows with international artists. The 'Lost City' is a fantasy world and has many stunning features including 'Valley of the
Waves' with an artificial sandy beach, water slides and surf 1.8 metres high. There are 2 championship golf courses (The Gary Player course is only available to handicap certificate players), tennis courts, a lake for water sports and numerous other activities. Accommodation can also be arranged in the Suncity Hotel or The Cabanas.

Sun City & Pilansberg
 

Adjacent to Sun City is the Pilanesberg National Park and this Malaria free park covers some 55,000 hectares. It is well stocked with game, including the 'Big 5', and is also a birder’s paradise. Hot air ballooning over the park is also possible. Accommodation can also be arranged at Tshukudu Bush Lodge.

CASCADES
The Cascades Hotel is a sophisticated and elegant hotel with lush gardens, tropical birds and water features. The hotel is located in the heart of the Sun City complex and is integrated into the entertainments complex. There is a large swimming pool with a cascading waterfall, a selection of restaurants including The Peninsula which offers a superb buffet breakfast and contemporary international menu in the evening and a choice of bars. Good accommodation is provided in the 243 ensuite rooms which have TV, radio, air-conditioning, telephone and minibar. The casino, health spa and Gary Player Club are all within walking distance.

THE PALACE
The Palace of the Lost City must surely rank as one of the world’s most extraordinary hotels; a fairytale palace residence, built with dedication and attention to detail. This is Sun City’s most exclusive hotel and is richly decorated throughout. It has spacious public rooms including various restaurants – the Crystal Court is surrounded by towering floor to ceiling windows giving views of the gardens and Valley of Waves. In the evening, the waterside Villa del Pallazzo offers classical northern Italian cuisine. The 338 bedrooms and suites are air-conditioned and most have spectacular views over Sun City. Within the grounds is the grand pool overlooking the Lost City

BAKUBUNG LODGE
The lodge, constructed in the shape of a horseshoe, surrounds a hippo pool and has 76 well appointed air conditioned bedrooms and 66 self-catering chalets. The attractive restaurant has a terrace overlooking the vastness of the reserve and bush braais in the boma provide a unique African dining experience. In the grounds is a rock-hewn swimming pool, two flood-lit tennis courts, volleyball, giant outdoor chess and children's playground. Children under the age of 18 (maximum of 2 per room) are accommodated free of charge if sharing with 1 or 2 adults. Apart from game viewing accompanied by experienced rangers (charges applicable), activities include walking trails, hot air ballooning and self drive game viewing trail.
