DENIS ISLAND LODGE
One of earth’s most enchanting and romantic retreats – a 375 acre private coral island with only 23 cottages plus a family 2 bedroom villa and Villa Bois d’Argent  is ideal for honeymooners. Each of these airconditioned beachside cottages has a sea facing verandah and an outdoor shower. The restaurant in the Pavilion is noted for its fine cuisine and offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Other facilities include a bar, lounge area, wine cellar, library, TV/video room and entertainment is provided twice weekly. There is a swimming pool and water activities such as windsurfing, sailing, game fishing, canoeing and snorkelling are available together with a PADI dive centre.

BIRD ISLAND
The transfer by light aircraft to this northerly island takes 30 minutes from Mahe. The island is surrounded by sparkling white beaches and crystal blue waters. There are 24 individual bungalows, with sea views and terrace, set in the gardens of an old coconut plantation. They are comfortable and spacious with overhead fans for ventilation. Within the Pavilion is the restaurant and lounge. From May to October, part of the island becomes home to millions of nesting sooty terns and with a year round population of at least another 20 bird species it is a birders paradise. It is also an important nesting site for turtles. As this is a ‘castaway island’ there is no television of telephones.

LABRIZ - SILHOUTTE ISLAND
Access from Mahe is by helicopter (15 minutes) or road and boat (45
minutes). The hotel is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World and has a backdrop of lush forest and looks onto a beach of white soft sand. The azure Indian Ocean water are in a National Marine Park giving wonderful opportunities for snorkelling and scuba diving. There is a wide choice of superb accommodation in the 110 air conditioned villas and suites. Facilities include a choice of 5 restaurants offering different cuisines, 2 bars, boutiques, library, live entertainment twice weekly, gym, tennis, spa, PADI dive centre and complimentary non-motorised water sports.

NORTH ISLAND
This unique private island sanctuary with its 4 fabulous private beaches has just 11 luxuriously appointed air conditioned villas constructed from local materials such as wood, stone and glass. Each private villa, with butler service, is self contained with a kitchen, large sun deck, lounge area and its own plunge pool. There is a central dining room, lounge, bar, library, gym and health spa. Highly recommended is the snorkelling, reef and wall scuba diving, deep sea and fly fishing, sailing and birding with the islands resident ecologist and naturalist. This is ‘barefoot luxury’ at its very best. Access is by helicopter from Mahe (about 20 minutes). Includes drinks and a host of activities but charges for deep sea fishing, yacht charter and beauty therapies are payable locally.
