HUNTERS COUNTRY HOUSE
The
hotel is an exclusive family owned retreat located just outside of
Plettenberg Bay. The gracious original thatched homestead is
surrounded by
beautiful gardens and framed by the majestic mountains of
Tsitsikamma (meaning the ‘the place of sparkling water’). In the
gardens is a swimming pool, extensive wine cellar and antiques shop.
The 21 delightful cottages, dotted around the gardens, are all
furnished to an exceptionally high standard and each has its own
patio. There are 3 suites, each with their own private plunge pool.
Within the main house is the baronial dining room serving candle lit
gourmet dinners and lounges. The hotel has its own chapel for small
weddings.
TSALA TREETOP LODGE
 Set
amidst the lush forest canopy and looking out over the Piesang River
Valley on the outskirts of Plettenberg Bay, the lodge is an
extravagant blend
of stone, wood, glass and water. Tsala’s exotic Afro baroque style,
with its earthy colours, rich textures and handcrafted fittings,
portrays the spirit of Africa. Each of the 10 beautifully appointed
hide-away suites with overhead fans comprise of sitting room with TV
& CD music system, bedroom, bathroom, and outdoor shower observation
deck and infinity plunge pool. There are intimate sitting rooms, a

LILY
POND COUNTRY HOUSE
Set in the heart of the ‘Garden Route’ between Plettenberg Bay and
Storms River, the lodge lies in a private nature reserve of 12
hectares with unique breath taking views of 3 lily ponds and is
secluded by magnificent indigenous forest. Experience the abundant
bird and butterfly life or try the walking trails in the
forest. The attractive beach at Nature’s Valley is just a 7 minute
drive away. There are just 10 well appointed bedrooms each with a
roof fan, heating and with a private patio overlooking the ponds.
Facilities include a library, cosy outdoor patio where breakfast is
served in fine weather, a new open-plan lounge/dining area for
evening meals, swimming pool and sun deck. A very friendly and
personally run lodge.
THE PLETTENBERG
 Occupying
a unique position on a headland overlooking 2 beaches, this
deservedly popular 5-star Relais et Chateaux hotel provides guests
with a high level of comfort and service. There are beautiful flower
filled lounges, 2 swimming pools and sun terraces. Bedrooms, some
with sea views, are all of a high standard and are located in 2
separate buildings.
Adjacent to the hotel is the Beach House and the Beach House Villa.
The Beach House is a self-contained house with 2 en suite bedrooms
and its own swimming pool in the gardens, and the Beach House Villa
has 3 bedrooms – both are ideal for families. The town centre is
only a few minutes away.
BOSAVERN GUEST HOUSE
 The
hotel’s 5 well appointed bedrooms each has a floor to ceiling glass
door leading onto a terrace with wonderful views to the white beaches
of Plettenberg Bay, Robberg Peninsula and the Piesangs River Valley
below. The rooms have television, telephone, honesty bar, tea &
coffee making facilities and are complete with choice Chrysalis
lines, pure cotton fabrics and goose down duvets. Leisurely
breakfasts are served on the patio or, on cooler days, in the dining
room. In the gardens is a swimming pool. The bustling town centre
with its cafes, restaurants and boutique shops is about
5 minutes away by car.
EMILY MOON RIVER LODGE
Located above the wetland valley of the Bitou River about 10 minutes
drive from Plettenberg Bay, the
lodge nestles amongst milkwood trees, fynbos and indigenous plants.
The 8 separate and spacious lodges are luxuriously furnished and
each has a living area, fireplace ceiling fan, under floor
heating, fully appointed bathroom, wooden viewing deck and
accommodate tow adults and children. The call of the fish
eagle can be heard from the Sundowner deck, the perfect spot for a
drink before dining in the lovely candle lit Emily's restaurant.
There is an alfresco dining area by the swimming pool.
HOG HOLLOW
 Situated
in lush vegetation some 18km east of Plettenberg Bay, the hotel
is well known for its friendly service, good food and comfort. In
the gardens
are 12 individually styled bedrooms decorated in earthy tones and
fabrics
with locally crafted artefacts. Each has a fireplace, an outdoor
wooden deck from which there are uninterrupted views of the forests
and mountains and hammocks. The main house has a bar and 2 lounge
areas. One leads out to the pool area whilst the other has a garden
vista. Dinner is served in the conviviality of the candlelit dining
room and usually around one table. Breakfast is served outside on the
deck each morning, weather permitting.
