Day 1 Depart from Livingstone and travel by road to the Kazungula Ferry where you cross over the river from Zambia into Botswana and then a further road transfer to Kasane Immigration, situated on the banks of the Chobe River, where you pass into Namibia. Then another boat transfer to Ntwala Island Lodge for a stay of 2 nights (FP+). The lodge can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests in 4 suites, each with a private plunge pool and a spacious viewing deck. Facilities also include indoor and outdoor showers and a private sala extending enticingly out over the water. Being an island destination, the lodge offers water-based activities, as well as picnics, walks on the islands and cultural interaction. Game viewing is by boat on the Chobe River together with cruises on the Zambezi. The surrounding rivers are reputed to offer some of the finest freshwater fishing in southern Africa – notable for Tigerfish.

Day 2
Day spent enjoying the various activities including game and bird viewing. Also the opportunity for fishing.

Day 3
Transfer by boat and road through Chobe National Park to Susuwe Island Lodge situated in the Bwabwata National Park (Caprivi) for a stay of 3 nights (FP+). The lodge is on the banks of the Kwando River and can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests in 6 suites, each with a wooden viewing platform and private plunge pool. At the end of an exciting day of game viewing enjoy sundowners on the lofty Canopy viewing deck set amongst tall riverine trees overlooking the endless savannah and wetlands followed by alfresco dining This is a perfect land and water camp offering river cruises, game drives and bush walks. The game rich area offers big game sightings including some of the largest elephant concentrations in Africa. A unique attraction is Horseshoe Bend – an ox bow lake on the Kwando River– where in an afternoon you can easily see more than 200 elephants drinking water.

Days 4 & 5
Days spent enjoying the various activities including game and bird viewing.

Day 6
After morning activities depart by charter flight to Kasane in Botswana.

Day 7
From here return to Livingstone in Zambia for onward flights or extend your safari to include game reserves in Botswana, such as, the Okavango Delta, Moremi and Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
