Mauritius Accommodation
ONE & ONLY ST. GERAN

Affectionately known as the ‘Grande Dame of Mauritius’,
the resort has earned a superb reputation for high standards of
comfort and service. It is situated on the east coast of the island
with the ocean on one side and a lagoon on the other. There are 162
beautifully appointed suites plus The Villa
with 2 bedrooms and a private pool. All suites have an ocean or
lagoon view and guests have a personal butler. There is a choice of
3 restaurants, bars and evening entertainment. The facilities are
outstanding with a wide choice of water sports, tennis, volleyball
and a 9-hole Gary Player designed golf course with complimentary
green fees for residents. In addition, there is the One & Only Spa
with various health and beauty treatments.
MAGIC SAILS
Sail away on a 3 day / 2 night cruise onboard a catamaran. A maximum
of 6 persons can be accommodated in 2 senior cabins and a smaller
junior cabin. The regular south-east trade winds and the pleasant
climate conditions make Mauritius an ideal venue for the cruise.
Sail to the northern isles, explore hidden lagoons and beaches and
swim and dive in crystal clear waters. Discover one of the best
snorkelling sites of the island with numerous corals and
multi-coloured fish. The rate includes all meals, welcome cocktail,
locally bottled spirits, wines, beers and soft drinks, snorkelling
and dinghy equipment. Each vessel is crewed by an experienced
skipper and boatman and departs every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
THE RESIDENCE MAURITIUS
On the east coast between 25 acres of tropical gardens and a long
white sand beach, the hotel has 163 luxurious rooms and suites.
Rooms have full or side
ocean views with balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, a living area
and butler service. For dining, The Plantation has an ocean front
setting; the Dining Room is the main restaurant and the Verandah
serves light snacks. There is entertainment most evenings. The
Sanctuary, offers a range of treatments using ‘La Praire’ products.
Free leisure activities include water skiing, windsurfing, hobie
cats, canoes, snorkelling, paddle boats, fishing and flood-lit
tennis courts. Charges are applicable for deep sea fishing,
catamaran cruising, boat rental and scuba diving. The ‘Kids Club’ is
for children aged 3 to 12 and baby sitting is available.
THE OBEROI
Just north of the capital, Port Louis, the hotel is set in 20 acres
of tropical gardens along a 600 metre ocean front with views of
mountains, golden beaches and turquoise sea. A wide range of sports
is provided; two swimming pools, tennis courts, water skiing,
windsurfing, scuba diving and deep sea fishing are all available.
The hotel has a fitness centre, health spa and a beauty salon. The
open-air restaurant offers a wide choice of excellent cuisine and
the beach bar is restored from a French 18th century ruin.
Accommodation is in superb pavilion villas in the lush gardens and
each has a sitting area and terrace. Larger luxury villas have their
own swimming pool whilst the ‘top of the range’ Royal villas have a
dining gazebo overlooking their private swimming pool.
HILTON RESORT AND SPA
The hotel stands on one of the island’s most famous beaches,
Flic-en-Flac. A genuine 5-star resort hotel, it has 193
air-conditioned rooms and suites all facing out to sea and the
sunset. A choice of restaurants offer varied cuisine such as Thai,
Mediterranean, local and international fare. Another restaurant also
provides beach service. Apart from a variety of free water sports
such as water skiing, windsurfing, sailing and snorkelling guests
can also take part in Deep sea fishing, diving and horse riding
(charges apply). The hotel has a 9-hole golf course. The spa offers
treatments for the body, face, hair and even your mind. There is a
daily entertainment programme for adults and a Kids Club for
children aged 4 to 12 run by a team of qualified professionals.
LE TOUESSROK
A stunning resort complex on the east coast combines
superb sandy beaches with a lagoon islet reached by a bridge. The
bedrooms and suites are furnished in a contemporary style and all
200 have a terrace or balcony and butler service. Facilities include
a choice of restaurants, bars, swimming
pools and evening entertainment. A Givenchy Spa provides a range of
treatments and there is a state-of-the-art fitness centre. A variety
of
complimentary water sports are available on Ile aux Cerfs which is
reached by boat. Here there is a fabulous beach, bars and
restaurants. For complete peace and tranquillity there is also a
boat service to Ilot Mangenie. There is also an 18 hole championship
golf course and guests do not pay green fees.
PARADISE COVE HOTEL & SPA

This superb hotel is at the north of the island. The 67 guest rooms
are in 1 and 2 storey bungalow-style buildings set around the
secluded cove with spacious deluxe rooms, beautifully appointed
Pondichery rooms and suites. Each has a sitting area, television
with video/cable channels, safe and a patio or balcony overlooking
the cove. There are two restaurants and a beach bar with the
emphasis on seafood, local and exotic cuisine. There is
entertainment nightly. Free activities include: glass bottom boat,
pedaloes, catamaran cruise, canoes, snorkelling, sailing (Laser),
windsurfing and water skiing. Charges are applicable for deep sea
fishing, submarine safari, parasailing and scuba diving. The Cinq

LE TELFAIR GOLF AND SPA RESORT
Located on the southern coast, the resort captures the colonial
spirit of Mauritius, offering a variety of luxury accommodation in
20 villas of 6 or 8 rooms. Each room provides a lounge area,
air-conditioning, satellite TV,DVD/CD, mini bar, tea/coffee making
facilities and room safe. A spacious bathroom adjoins with walk-in
shower, double vanity, dressing room and bathrobes. French windows
open out to private
balconies with beautiful sea or river views. A wide variety of
dining experiences are available at five outstanding restaurants and
two bars. The Six Senses Spa provides both ancient and modern
techniques whilst the ‘Kids Club’ welcomes children between 2 and 11

TAMASSA
The 4-star Tamassa, opening December 2007, on the
island’s south-west coast, offers a truly Mauritian experience with
traditional architecture and contemporary décor. All 214 rooms have
terrace or balcony with sea view, air-conditioning, spacious
bathroom with separate shower and toilet, dressing rooms, satellite
TV, mini bar, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. There are two
restaurants and two bars. The main restaurant overlooking the pool
is based on three open kitchens offering a range of international
cuisine, whilst the more relaxing beach bar provides light lunches
with evening themed buffets and a la carte dining. Leisure
facilities include 4 swimming pools (including the pool in the spa),
complimentary windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, glass bottom boat
rides and water skiing, Spa with 16 treatment rooms, gym and Kids
Club for 3 to 12 year olds.
BEAU RIVAGE
The hotel stands on a spectacular white sandy beach at Belle Mare on
the east coast of the island and is protected by a coral reef. The
thatched villa-style rooms are set beside the beach and comprise of
162 superior rooms (upper floor) and deluxe rooms (ground floor)
plus 11 suites. Each has a sitting area, balcony or terrace with sea
view. There is a choice of restaurants and to round off the day
there is evening entertainment with local musicians plus regular
cabarets and sega shows. Activities are included free of charge –
gym, sauna, tennis, windsurfing, pedaloes, canoes, mini sails,
snorkelling and water skiing. A charge is payable for scuba diving
and game fishing. The ‘Little Mermaid’ club entertains youngsters
from 3 to 11 years old from 10.30 to 21.00 hrs daily
LEGENDS
The hotel is set on a lovely bay in the north east corner of the
island and has 126 Superior and 46 deluxe rooms, each having a
terrace or balcony with sea view. Junior & Senior Suites are also
available. The hotel is designed on Feng Shui principles with rooms
designed to achieve a harmonious balance between one of the five
elements and their corresponding colours. There is a choice of 4
restaurants, Spa and Health Club, games room, floodlit tennis courts
and many free water sports activities. Scuba diving and jet skiing
are also available (charges applicable). The mini-club cares for
children between the ages of 3 to 11 and there is a club for
teenagers. The resort of Grand Baie with its marina, shops and cafes

LE MERIDIEN ILE MAURICE
Situated in a sheltered bay on the North West coast this
cosmopolitan resort offers 265 superbly furnished rooms and suites,
all sea facing with private terrace. Facilities include private
bath/shower, air-conditioning,
satellite TV, mini bar and tea/coffee maker. Away from the main
building the 67 nirvana rooms are set in beautifully landscaped
gardens. Guests are pampered in unparalleled luxury and enjoy
complimentary in-room breakfast plus a dedicated lounge with non
alcoholic drinks and canapés all day. The hotel offers a Health Spa
and gym, sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as the Penguin Children’s Club.
There is a choice of four bars and restaurants serving a fusion of
European, Asian and Mauritian cuisine. Activities include tennis,
windsurfing, water skiing and other water sports.
MERVILLE BEACH
The hotel is on a sandy beach on the north west coast and is just 10
minutes walk from the lively resort of Grand Baie. The hotel has 169
rooms in 3 categories – standard rooms in the main building
overlooking the gardens or pool; superior rooms either in the 2
storey cottages in the gardens or in the newer Garden Court, both
with garden views; and deluxe rooms in the Garden Court with sea
views. There is a restaurant, shop and regular evening
entertainment. The swimming pool overlooks the beach and free water
sports include water skiing, windsurfing, snorkelling, mini sails
and glass bottom boats. Scuba diving can be arranged (charge
applicable). There is also a fitness centre, games room and floodlit
tennis courts
MARITIM HOTEL
Close to the capital of Port Louis, the hotel is set in a 62 acre
estate overlooking Turtle Bay. The 221 bedrooms, situated either
side of the main central area, offer a high degree of comfort. There
are restaurants, bars and evening entertainment. For relaxation
there is a swimming pool, tennis courts and a 9-hole golf course
(green fees included). There is also a health & beauty centre and
shopping arcade. The hotel operates on an all inclusive basis which
includes house wine, locally bottled alcoholic drinks and cocktails
plus water skiing, windsurfing and sailing. For children between the
ages of 3 and 12 there is the Turtle Club. Other activities can be
