AUOB LODGE
The lodge is situated on the banks of the dry Auob river near the
small town of Gochas. This gem in the Kalahari offers 26 en-suite
double rooms, restaurant, lapa, TV room and lounge with fireplace
for chilly winter evenings. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at the
swimming pool or discover the surrounding area on foot, horseback or
on a sundowner drive.
DESERT HOMESTEAD
Located to the south of Sesriem, the lodge has 16 cottages built
from local rock and blending with the environment. They have en
suite facilities and power from solar panels and the wind. The
lounge and dining area are in the old farmhouse and in the gardens
is a swimming pool.
CAMP X’ARAGU
Hidden away by a river in a valley just off the ‘main road’, it is a
place of peace and tranquillity. The chalets, set in the gardens,
are simply but comfortably furnished and have en suite
shower/toilet. There is a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and shop.
For outdoor dining each chalet has a braai.
ETENDEKA MOUNTAIN CAMP
Etendeka Mountain Camp offers a unique, pristine wilderness
experience which will appeal to photographer, naturalist, astronomer
and geologist alike, as well as lovers of peace, quiet and open
space. The camp has 10 walk-in tents with en suite facilities and a
verandah from which there are stunning views.
EUROPAHOF
J ust a short walk from the town centre and 200m from the ocean, this
privately owned hotel has 35 en suite bedrooms. The restaurant
serves a buffet breakfast and in the evenings an à la carte menu
offering locally caught sea food and speciality German dishes. There
is a bar and lounge.
HOBATERE LODGE
Hobatere Lodge is located 65 km north of Kamanjab on the western
border of Etosha National Park. The lodge has 12 twin-bedded
bungalows with en-suite facilities and a rustic tree house
overlooking a waterhole. There is a swimming pool, bar, small
library, lounge and dining room. From the hide you can watch the
animals drinking at the water hole.
NAMIB DESERT LODGE
The lodge sits at the foot of a red sandstone cliff, the
‘fossilised’dunes of the protomorphic Namib. Situated just 60 km
north of Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei with the highest sand
dunes in the world, the lodge is set among tall trees and palms and
has 21 rooms en suite, a restaurant and swimming pool, all of which
invite you to linger and relax.
OHAKANE LODGE
The lodge is situated on the banks of the dry Okakango River between
a large concentration of Camel Thorn and other indigenous trees.
Relax in the garden, or next to the pool, and enjoy the sights and
sounds of the abundance of indigenous bird life in the area. There
are 24 twin comfortably furnished en-suite rooms.
ONGUMA BUSH CAMP
Situated on the eastern side of Etosha Park, Onguma Reserve boasts
over thirty different animal species. Plains game roam freely and
predators although not easy to spot are nevertheless common
residents of the area. Accommodation consists of 6 en-suite
air-conditioned bungalows, and 1 family room. Dinner is served in an
open lapa and in the gardens is a swimming pool.
ONGUMA TENTED LODGE
Situated on the eastern side of Etosha Park, the camp is a beguiling
mixture of sophistication and relaxation. In the local Herero
language, Onguma means, “the place you don’t want to leave.” With a
stunning main building and seven tents providing en suite
accommodation, it certainly lives up to its name. For relaxation
there is a rim flow pool, lounge and 60m away a water hole for game
viewing.
PALMWAG LODGE
Palmwag Lodge is a paradise on the Uniab River in north west
Damaraland and is one of Namibia’s oldest and most popular tourist
rendezvous. The lodge offers 30 beds in 2-3-bed thatched bungalows,
and 10 beds in luxury en-suite tents, 8-bed family unit (child
friendly), a fully licensed restaurant, swimming pool under shady
palms, and a very cosy pool bar and lapa.
