The beach resorts are situated to the north and south of
Mombasa, to the south of Malindi and in the far north
near Lamu. All three areas are accessible by scheduled
flights from Nairobi. Life on safari can be tiring due
to the high temperatures, long days and travelling
overland on bumpy roads. A relaxing break at a beach
resort is the perfect way of ending a safari holiday.

The majority of hotels around Mombasa are fairly large
resort complexes but if you prefer an intimate retreat
then we suggest Kiwayu or Kipungani in the north.
Between May and July water sports and activities may be
restricted at some of the resort hotels. |
