KENYAN CLASSIC

Day 1 Evening flight from
Heathrow to Nairobi.
Day 2 Arrive Nairobi in the
morning and transfer to the House of Waine in the suburb of Waine.
Rest of day at leisure for relaxation(BB)
Day 3 Early departure for the
scheduled flight south to Amboseli. From the airstrip you will be
taken to Tortilis Camp for a stay of 2 nights. Afternoon game
viewing. (FP+)
Day 4 Day spent game viewing.
Day 5 Private charter flight to
Nanyuki airstrip to connect with the scheduled flight into the Masai
Mara. Accommodation at Cottars 1920’s camp for 3 nights. (FP+)
Day 6 & 7 Days spent game
viewing.
Day 8 Early morning game viewing
before breakfast. Depart on the scheduled flight to Nairobi and
connect with the flight to Lamu. Transfer by boat for the 20 minute
trip to Manda Bay where 3 nights are spent. (FP+)
Day 9 &10 At leisure. Numerous
activities available.
Day 11 Morning at leisure.
Afternoon flight from Lamu to Nairobi for the evening flight to
London.
Day 12 Arrive Heathrow early
morning.

HOUSE OF WAINE
This is an 11 bedroom boutique hotel renowned for its fine
décor and quiet location. Each bedroom has a marble bathroom, mini
bar and coffee & tea making facilities. Within the garden there is a
heated swimming pool and bar. It is closely located to the Giraffe
Centre, Daphne Shedrick’s Elephant Orphanage and Nairobi National
Park.
SCOTTARS 1920’S SAFARI CAMP
The Cottar safari tradition began in 1919 and 88 years on, the
unparalleled safari experience is still maintained. The camp is
situated in the Masai Mara in an untouched exclusive concession.
There are 5 tents all with en suite dressing rooms/bathrooms with
canvas baths, bucket showers and verandah. Activities include game
drives, walks, swimming and bush meals.
TORTILIS CAMP
Set in a magnificent location with the towering Mount
Kilimanjaro as a back cloth, the 17 tents are
spacious, elegant and all have en suite bathrooms with steaming hot
showers and flush loos. There is a main sitting area, bar and dining
room all built with natural materials. Activities include game
drives, walks, sundowners, massage and swimming pool.
MANDA BAY
This is an unspoiled, idyllic island of the Lamu Archipelago
and offers relaxation, water sports, dhow safaris and pampering. The
15 highly stylish cottages are on miles of white beach and have a
ceiling fan, en suite bathroom and verandah overlooking the ocean.
Deep sea fishing, waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing on their 60’
dhow are just a few of the activities available.
